Desktop with no Wifi
Hi guys
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does this work without wifi? Can I plug the Raspberry into my router?
I'm a newb when it comes to stuff like this, but I really want to convert my old Raspberry 3 into a monitor for my gaming desktop.
And maybe another stupid question. Would it possible to buy a WiFi USB dongle and connect it to the Pi and still run my internet through the ethernet?
Lol. Just figured out that as long as my computer and the Pi is connected to the same network they can talk together. My router has wifi...... This was indeed some stupid questions. Sorry amigos.

no worries, glad that you found out, that if you are using a Ethernet cable for the pi instead of WiFi, its just works out of the box.
