QUESTION

Accessing localhost:42100 on another device.

So as the title states. I would like to know if it’s possible to access http://localhost:42100 from any other device connected on the same wifi network via web browser. I’ve tried several other variations router ip or localhost but no luck.

I have it running on my desktop but I haven’t yet set it up on a pi or an android phone yet.

Hey @Xenofiber!

So as localhost states it is local - so you are accessing the local device you are currently on.

Since MoBro is running on your PC and not the local device (Android, Raspberry Pi, another PC with browser) you would need to change out localhost with the local network IP-address of your computer that has MoBro running.
As you have correctly said you need to be in the same network and use the local network address of your PC that could be for example: 192.168.0.10

For more help on how to find you local IP address see here:

Hope that helps,

Man, I hate how basic my mistake was. I entered the wrong up. I was finally back home and did a route print on a windows CMD terminal got the right ip, added the port  and it worked. It kept me at spinning square unt I realized I had to configure it first to get it to display something but I’m stoked on how well this works.

Thanks.
