Hi all,

How can I rotate the screen (180°) with an official RPI 7" Touch screen ?

Thanks

HI @STUDIO MAC

if you only want to rotate the screen and don't need the touch inputs, you can just select ‘HDMI’ and a rotation of 180° in the configuration wizard of the current v11.1 image and that should do the trick.
That won't rotate the touch input though and therefore touch won't be usable after that.

If you need the touch input rotated as well you would currently have to manually edit the config.txt file and add ‘lcd_rotate=2’ as a separate line to it (and remove the ‘display_rotate’ line if one is present)
but be sure to do that after(!) you went through our config wizard.  the wizard will again alter the config.txt and remove your custom entries whenever you hit ‘apply’ for a new configuration.

The new v12 image (which we are currently testing and should be out in a few weeks) will contain the option to just select the official RPi screen in the display driver option.
So no more manual configuration required in that one :)
