Ok, so as the title says, Im completely new to Display Panels and am kinda lost. I already have a 7" screen mounted to my rig, but have no real understanding of Raspberry systems. Do I need a specific version or a minimum ram / disk space? Can I tether the programs together with a USC cable instead of wireless?

our image works with all Raspberry Pi models, so you don't need a specific one
check out the page here for more details: Supported Hardware

As for the micro SD card, 4GB of space is enough for our image

Starting with v12 of our image you can set up everything via USB instead of wifi with a Raspberry Pi Zero, like explained here
However, that requires a bit of custom configuration, so it might not be the best place to start if you're new to all of this

Thanks for the reply! I have been reading what you have posted for me, and that got me thinking. Would it be possible to just use the Ethernet version plugged into the back of my PC?

Probably a retarded question, but it seams like a viable idea to me.
